West Hills Mall to host National Chocolate Day on Vals’ Day

Although Valentine’s Day has always commanded an irresistible pull for the city’s trendiest recreational addresses, West Hills Mall has decided to spice up this year’s celebration with unique experiences that might make St. Valentine himself shudder.

West Hills Mall management has announced that Ghana’s trendiest destination for shopping and recreation will usher in Valentine’s Day with a special pre-valentine VIP treat on Saturday for selected corporate and private business moguls and personalities at an evening of fun and quality entertainment.

On Sunday, a delegation of the National Chocolate Day celebration will converge at the Food Court of West Hills Mall, where the Ghana Tourist Authority is to hold an exhibition of cocoa-based products and subsequently, in conjunction with the Chefs’ Association of Ghana, organise a Culinary Competition of chocolate-based foods.

“This is West Hills Mall’s second Val’s Day experience, and we intend it to be as thrilling and relaxing as possible for our customers and patrons. We will usher in the celebrations on Saturday evening with an unforgettable pre-valentine social encounter with a selection of the city’s most reputable corporate and business personalities,” said West Hill’s Marketing Manager Michael Konadu.

Mr. Konadu disclosed that interactions with and among the guests will be moderated by celeb actress Lydia Forson as the evening kicks off with cocktails, Champagne, light food, soothing ambient music and the feature movie.

“Each invited guest will receive a West Hills-branded USB, but once they drop their business or call cards in a receptacle upon arrival they will stand a chance of winning shopping vouchers worth G?H300,” Konadu said.

“We will also pick out and reward the best-dressed lady and gentleman of the night and reward them with a voucher worth GH?500; but here I must make it clear that it is our intention to make our moderator the sole Judge.”

Since it opened for business in October 2014, West Hills Mall has become Accra’s busiest shopping destination and is fast becoming the city’s most desirable address for quality entertainment and recreation.
