The UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy, Adam Afriyie, is scheduled for a three-day business visit to Ghana to strengthen trade relations between the two countries.
His visit comes on the back of an MoU signed between Ghana and the UK on the Jobs for Economic Transformation (JET) Programme worth £20 million, which is expected to reduce unemployment by creating 15,000 jobs.
The UK High Commission in Ghana said Mr Afriyie’s visit will coincide with the upcoming UK-Ghana Investment Summit on 15 – 17 October and new commercial partnerships.
