Prudential Life Plan launched

Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, has launched a new product to provide customers with an alternate way of making income when they are unable to work due to critical illness or disability.

The Prudential Life Plan is the first income protection product in Ghana and guarantees the reimbursement of 100 per cent of its premiums to customers if they outlive the term of the policy without making claim.

The plan covers ten critical illnesses and also entitles customers to a fee annual health check.

Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Ghana, Emmanuel Mokobi Aryee said: “Prudent Life Plan is small on cost and big on protection.

It means customers can be assured that they will not have to deal with huge bills in the event of critical illness or disability.

Furthermore, we promise to reimburse customers premiums if they outlive the terms of the policy without making claim.

The Prudent Life Plan is a win-win product, which offers a truly prudent way for Ghanaians to plan their lives.”

Prudential Bank has quadrupled its premium income and tripled its agency force in two years and have also signed three bancassurance partnerships with Societe Generale, Fidelity Bank and Cal Bank.

“In Ghana, we are providing 200 Prudential Scholarships for academically able but financially disadvantaged high school students with an emphasis, on supporting girls.

And we operate the Prudential Actuarial Support System in partnership with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the University of Cape Coast and the University of Development Studies.

The system provides bursary awards to help high achieving actuarial science students build careers in insurance,” Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Bank Africa, Matt Lilley, indicated.
