An Italian themed ice-cream parlor in Osu, Pinocchio Gelato, has also added another branch in East legon, located between A&C shopping and Star Bites. Pinocchio Gelato has introduced new exciting flavors to their existing ones. The move according to Pinocchio is to provide better and a more exciting services to its wide range of clientele.
Some of the new flavors include; Vanilla & Chocolate mix, Soya and Pineapple, Snickers (Peanut butter, Chocolate and Caramel) and blackcurrant. Pinocchio also provides a whole range of special ice cream for people who are lactose intolerant, sugar free ice cream for people who don’t and can’t eat sugar.
There is also the rumored sandwich ice cream and a special teddy bear ice cream. The ice cream parlor has also introduced Ghana’s first ever homemade Magnum Stick.
According to the Executive Chef of Pinocchio, Cristiano Cremaschi, a well known ice cream chef in Europe, who has been running a gelato shop in Italy for over 15 years, Pinocchio uses the purest Italian gelato products during production in their labs guaranteed to deliver nothing but the best ice cream money can buy. ‘Our concept is quality ice cream and fast food at very reasonable prices open to all types of clientele’. He added.
