MTN BUSINESS FAIR HELD IN ACCRA

MTN Ghana has engaged a cross-section of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) at its Accra Business Fair held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel Wednesday October 14, 2015. The MTN Accra Business Fair is the fourth in the series for the year after three successful sessions in Takoradi, Kumasi and Koforidua.

The Fair is an initiative by MTN Business Ghana to bring together SMEs and corporate organizations to network and share business ideas together to maximize productivity and inspire growth.

Held under the theme,Sharing The Values Of Growth For Businesses,” the Fair positioned MTN Business as a key technology partner for small and medium sized businesses as well as large companies.

Welcoming the audience, the General Manager for MTN Business, Samuel Addo expressed MTN’s appreciation to the audience for honoring the invitation.  “MTN Business Fairs have come to stay. They provide the platform for collaboration, interaction and value-sharing between MTN and the business community,” he said.

Other key personalities that led discussions at the event were Tunji Alabi, Chief Information Officer for Fidelity Bank, Sofiene Marzouki, Managing Director of Hello Foods and Michael Ghartey, MTN Accounts Manager for ISP & Bulk Carriers.

Speaking on the topic “Insights on achieving operational efficiency, using IT enabled services”, Mr. Alabi expressed his outfit’s satisfaction with their partnership with MTN in the area of IT solutions. According to him, product development and customer experience present avenues for leading and differentiating oneself from the pack.

Mr. Marzouki of Hellofoods on his part enumerated the benefits of MTN payment solutions to his business. He spoke on “How Mobile Financial services can be used as a payment channel by both ‘brick and mortar’ and ‘click and order’ businesses, to boost performance.” He stated that through MTN Mobile Money, Hellofoods is able to serve its numerous customers with the most basic need of man – food- seamlessly.

Mr. Michael Ghartey, Key Accounts Manager, ISP & Bulk Carriers for MTN Business speaking on the topic; “MTN Business – Solutions for Business to enable growth,” walked the audience through the numerous solutions offered by MTN Business to enable and inspire growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). He outlined the benefits of tailor-made solutions for businesses and identified products that MTN Business offers to businesses.

The Fair was attended by a number of businesses who set up their business booths at the event including E-solutions Ghana, Safe Web, Fidelity Bank, Forum Network and SMSGH. All the companies represented took the opportunity to showcase their products and services.
