Lufthansa to begin booking Tuesday flights

Travellers will soon be able to book Tuesday flights as Lufthansa German Airlines, Europe’s largest airline, will from October 28th, add Tuesdays to its booking days, Country manager of the Airline, Kevin Markette has announced.

He said that even though the Airline currently operates flights from Wednesdays to Sundays, the modification, is part of its winter schedule which seeks to offer more choices and convenience to passengers.

“From the Ghanaian perspective, we will do our best to offer as many Ghanaian touches as we can. One of them is the catering on-board. We have received positive feedback from travellers. We also work on prices to ensure that they are competitive and attractive. Ultimately, it’s one of our goals to increase our flights to Accra to a daily flight,” he said.

The airline currently offers one of the best all-inclusive fares to various destinations in Europe and North America.

Lufthansa currently offers one of the most extensive networks from Accra with connections via Frankfurt to over 100 cities in Europe, 18 in the USA and Canada and six in South America. It also connects passengers to a variety of Asian destinations.
