Ghana’s leading women entrepreneurs to converge in Accra

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Justice, Honourable Nana Oye Lithur is expected to open the first Ghana Women in Business and Leadership conference scheduled for 26-27th February 2015 in Accra, under the theme, “Network, Engage and Do Business”.

 

Organized by OML Africa, the Ghana Women in Business conference will be the largest gathering of influential Ghanaian women in entrepreneurship and leadership.

 

According to Anita Wiafe-Asinor, Managing Director of OML Africa,” The Ghana Women in Business conference will be an exciting 2-day event made up of plenary sessions, panel discussions, product presentations, etc will focus on empowering the Ghanaian women to excel in various aspects of business and leadership. Our prime objective at the conference will be focusing on providing solutions to the many problems women face in business, politics, careers and leadership.”

 

“In achieving this objective, a highly powered panel of women experts has been lined up to address the conference. Some prominent speakers include Grace Amey Obeng(Managing Director,FC Group);Pearl Esua Mensah (deputy Managing Director, UT Bank); Mandy Hayford(Founder, Iye Naturals) and Anita Erskine(Executive Chairperson, Brand Woman Africa), she added.

The Ghana Women in Business conference is expected to attract over 100 conference delegates made up of women entrepreneurs, managing directors, owners of businesses, marketing managers from various fields of endeavour.
