The CEO of Business World Kofi Mangesi has been named as the Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 (print Category) at an impressive Gala night held at the banquet Hall of State House for the Third UT Ghana Entrepreneur Awards in Accra.
The awards ceremony was to honour outstanding Ghanaian and non-Ghanaian entrepreneurs for their contributions towards economic growth and job creation. The awards ceremony was on the theme: “Celebrating Entrepreneurship the Engine of Economic Growth”.
Other award winners were: Roland Agambire, who won the overall Entrepreneur of the Year Award Saled Fakhry, Chairman of Interplast Ghana Limited – Lifetime Entrepreneurial Achievement; Brian Maxted, CEO of Kosmos Energy – Best International Entrepreneur; Charles Yao Mensah, Executive Chairman of Myroc Group of Companies – Outstanding Entrepreneur Achievement and Kate Quartey-Papafio, CEO of Reroy Cables Limited – Best Woman Entrepreneur.
