Telecom operator AirtelTigo has announced a strategic alliance with mobile phone brands ‘TECNO’, ‘Infinix’ and ‘Itel’ to offer free voice and data with the purchase of any device from the three mobile brands to enable customers get onto the digital highway.
This strategic move expands AirtelTigo’s partnerships with leading mobile phone brands to create an ‘open ecosystem’ of affordable smartphones and also help increase smartphone adoption in the country.
With the purchase of any ‘TECNO’, ‘Infinix’ or ‘Itel’ smartphone from AirtelTigo shops or ‘TECNO’, ‘Infinix’ or ‘Itel’ outlets nationwide, new and existing customers of AirtelTigo will get a free SIM card, minutes to call AirtelTigo numbers and data to browse the internet
The free data and voice minutes for customers will vary based on the price of the mobile device. Customers will have to dial *536# to activate the offer for the first month.
