The creative and multi-talented former copywriter, Mantse Aryeequaye, has created what is perhaps Ghana’s most revolutionary art festival that is attracting artists from all over the world.

The Chale Wote Street Art Festival, independent of state control and a non-profit festival free to the public, drew over 10,000 people to Accra’s fishing colonial settlement during its fifth edition of the annual festival, with more than 200 local and international visual artists, poets, film-makers, vendors, photographers, musicians, and performance artists participating – each with their own diverse interpretations of the festival’s vision.

The festival receives coverage from reputable media houses including the pan-African media, BBC, African Channel (USA) and Al Jazeera, testifying of its rowing impact.

Aryeequaye and his team at ACCRA [DOT] ALT are into other revolutionary and exciting things. (Read more on Sabolai Radio & Talk Party Series
