The Winneba native earned the trust of his constituents and won the elections to Parliament in 2012, and was voted the ‘Overall Best Parliamentarian for 2014’ by Ghanaian research company, FAKS Investigative Services in a survey of about 5,000 respondents.

The law maker who is a lawyer by profession, believes his grassroots work during his years as an Assembly Member and a Municipal Executive in his constituency has won him another term to the House, despite having courted numerous controversies, in the past couple of years, due to his outspokenness and aggressive style in Parliament, when his party was in opposition.
