Vodafone pushes fibre offering through superNet initiative

Vodafone is adamant its fibre broadband rollout, via its SuperNet initiative, will help to ensure Ghanaians benefit from the country’s digital revolution.

The telco says SuperNet will make communication more affordable, reliable and efficient, and that its fibre broadband is ten times faster than regular internet connectivity.

Its offering is being rolled out across 20 communities in Ghana.

Yolanda Cuba, Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana, said, “The Vodafone Fibre Broadband is positioning Vodafone as a total communications provider for home and businesses. This new technology, which is changing the phase of internet connection to homes across the world, will be delivered using our state of the art fibre optic infrastructure.”

“It will transform communities in Ghana and will also enable customers to get so much more within limited time like never before.”

Cuba added that the company is engaging communities and real estate developers across the country to provide access, making it the third utility after water and electricity.

Kwaku Sakyi-Addo, CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications, “I want to commend Vodafone Ghana for playing its part in making sure we achieve our purpose by providing reliable and affordable Internet to consumers for their homes, offices and on the go.”
