Over 1,500 brands vied for the prestigious honour of being amongst the Top 50 recognisable and respected brands in the country.
The rankings is a result of months of intense research conducted by Premier Brands Ghana, an independent organisation dedicated to ensuring that businesses adopt the best practices in branding for business growth.
In the last quarter of this year, Premier Brands Ghana will honour the top 50 most valuable business brands in Ghana for their extraordinary performances in brand positioning in competition.
Premier Brands said the data was collected primarily from consumers in Ghana who helped to arrive at a credible conclusion as to which brand deserves what position on the Top 50 most valuable business brands for 2014.
Two insurance companies, Glico and Enterprise Groups made it to the Top 50, taking the 45th and 50th positions respectively.
Other brands whose performances in brand positioning are showing great improvement and thus are becoming significantly relevant on the market where they operate will also receive the prestigious and enviable “Top Emerging Brands Award”.
The exact date for the awards dinner in October will be announced later.
