Starbow crash-lands in Tamale

Indigenous airline Starbow’s flight S9110 with registration number 9GSBB, was this morning involved in an incident upon landing at the Tamale airport in the Northern Region.

The airline in a statement said: “We have received notification that Starbow Flight S9110, which was en-route from Accra to Tamale, has been involved in a minor incident today 6th October 2015.

“As a result, Starbow’s Bae aircraft with registration number 9GSBB went through the barricade at the end of the Tamale runway and stopped. It is noteworthy that, both crew and the passengers were disembarked safely via stairs.

“Our sincere concerns goes out to all of the passengers, friend and families involved. We are still gathering facts concerning the event. Starbow is cooperating fully with the Authorities in charge.”
