Star Assurance Company has launched an online portal, www.starassurance.com, that seeks to make the company’s services more convenient and comfortable to its clients and the insuring public.
Seen as its virtual branch, the portal can be accessed anywhere, thus allowing customers to open and own online accounts and buy their preferred insurance products such as Motor, Travel, Personal, Accident and Comprehensive Homeowner’s policies.
The Managing Director of Star Assurance, Mr Kofi Duffuor, said: “We have made everything available online in one place, ensuring that our clients are able to buy policies, renew expiring ones, maintain their policies and make payments conveniently and securely.”
He also said clients could make payments using Mobile Money, Speed Banking, Visa Cards, MasterCard and Empower accounts.
“We have spared no effort in trying to make the experience as seamless as possible, putting clients in direct control of their insurance accounts,” Mr Duffuor added.
According to him, the e-insurance portal allows clients to save valuable time; is convenient and also minimises the time spent on insurance paperwork.
