The Managing Director of Cal Bank Limited Frank Adu Jnr, is confident his successor after he exits the bank by the end of this year, will be well equipped to succeed.

Speaking to Citi Business News about his impending exit , Mr. Adu said he has contributed his quota to the development of the bank and is ready to step aside for someone else to take over his role.

“Exiting is inevitable. Somebody started it, somebody takes over, you continue and then you hand over. I’ve been around for a longtime. It’s been a fun ride. I’ve worked with some great people and I’ve worked with people who have stabbed me in the back. You take the good with the bad and move on. I have no doubt that whoever takes over from me will do a great job. I’m sure the board will find someone who will do a better job than I’ve done.”

Mr. Frank Adu Jnr further highlighted what was instore for him once he retires adding that there is more he can still offer with his life.

“Yeah I’m going to go at the end of this year. And I’m looking forward to it actually, because I’ve spent over half of my life at the bank. I’m Gemini and we have two sides. I’ve done the formal bit of me, let me go do the silly bit before I die.”
