Ivan started his career in July 1981 as a clerk with SIC Insurance Company and rose through the ranks to become a Senior Manager in 2008.
Avereyireh was appointed Managing Director of Ghana Life Insurance Company Limited in January 2009. As a growth strategist, Ivan played a critical role in rebirth of Ghana Life bringing to bear on the fortunes of the company his 27 years expertise in company re-engineering, corporate governance sales mobilisation and branch office development in Ghana’s insurance market.
Prior to his election as the ninth President of GIA, he was a board-member and member of the life Council.
