BACKGROUND: Mrs. Amey-Obeng started with $100 and has grown her retail shop into a conglomerate and one of West Africa’s most successful beauty care businesses. The FC Group of Companies now includes FC Skin and Beauty Clinic, FC Beauty College, FC Cosmetics Industry, FC Perfumery and Cosmetics, Beauty Scope Magazine and SEBS Enterprise. The conglomerate has eight branches in Ghana and exports to Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Togo, Ivory Coast, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
