Cowtribe Technology Limited emerged winners of this year’s Seedstars Accra Event, taking the position of Best Start-Up company in the country for its innovative sustainable solution.
As part of their prize, the tech company will represent Ghana at the Seedstars Summit in Switzerland to compete for a prize of up to USD 1 million in equity investment and other prizes.
The event, which took place at the University of Professional Studies, saw a total of ten selected startups, battle it out in front of a local panel of judges for the chance to participate in Seedstars World, the largest seed-stage startup competition for emerging markets and fast-growing startup scenes.
The winner, Cowtribe Technology, is Africa’s first last mile animal vaccine delivery platform, founded in 2016, to deliver safe vaccines to farmers in hard to reach areas.
Cowtribe Technology will in April 2019, participate in the Seedstars Summit in Switzerland- a weeklong training program, with the opportunity to meet over 65 winners from other fast-growing economies, as well as investors and mentors from around the world.
The final day of the Summit is dedicated to pitching in front of an audience of more than 1000 attendees, with the possibility of winning up to USD 1 million in equity investment and other prizes.
