Airtel Ghana partners Zenith bank and Vivo Energy

 An attempt to offer convenience to customers who buy Shell fuel and lubricants has resulted in a partnership between Airtel Ghana, Zenith Bank and Vivo Energy Ghana; the company that distributes and markets shell products, Director in charge of Airtel Money at Airtel Ghana has revealed.

The arrangement will see Zenith Bank, acting as a depository bank, issue fuel cards to customers thus patrons of the Airtel network, who have activated their Airtel Money account, can top up their Shell Cards using Airtel Money.

“One of the main unique attributes of Airtel Money is its convenience. We aim at offering customers with an efficient alternative to cash transactions”.

There has been an overwhelming demand for the Personal Shell Card which was launched in April 2013 to cater for the increasing demands of individuals for alternative means to cashless payment, Corporate Communications Manager of Vivo Energy Ghana, Shirley Tony Kum said, adding that, the partnership with Airtel Money will simplify payment for top-ups on the Shell Card and make payments convenient for the customer.
