Air Cote d’Ivoire bans flights to Ebola stricken countries

ivoireAir Cote d’Ivoire has joined the growing list of airlines that have suspended flights moving to and from Ebola stricken countries.

The airline which made the announcement today said it will resume flights to the Ebola stricken countries that is Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia when the situation normalizes.

Sources say Rwanda Air is likely to follow suit.

The latest development is despite calls from the World Health Organization (WHO) for airlines to desist from such moves.

A number of airlines including British Airways, Asky, Arik Air, Korean Air Lines, Kenya airways and the Emirates airline have suspended flights to Ebola stricken countries.
