A1 Bread, MTN, ARZ Join Forces To Create 100,000 Jobs

Three companies: ARZ Consult, A1 Bread and telecommunication giant MTN, have joined forces to create 100,000 jobs for Ghanaians in order to reduce the unemployment rate in the country.

It all starts from the Greater Accra Region where they are targeting 5,000 jobs. Same job opportunities would be replicated in the nine others.

The collaboration also aims to provide decent income-generation avenues for thousands of unemployed persons.

Speaking to Class91.3FM’s McAnthony Dagyenga, founder of ARZ Consult, Zak Rahman, explained that the opportunities would help reduce poverty among Ghanaians.

He said the collaboration of the three companies is such that ARZ would do the recruitment of personnel who will be provided with MRN-branded point-of-sale outlets to receive supplies of A1 bread for sale.

“What we are trying to do is to create more than 100,000 jobs nationwide so every Ghanaian who, in one way or the other, is idle or jobless; you call us, we come and do the set-up and start supplying you. You do not have to pay anything. We supply you for free, and whatever money you make, you make it directly.

“We give you the table and umbrella and chair and supply you any quantity you can sell. But averagely, we expect that you sell about 30 loaves of bread daily and make GHS 600 a month”, he said.

Mr Rahman also explained that the beneficiaries would receive a SIM card each from MTN through which their monthly salaries of GHS600 would be paid via Mobile Money.
